How is it different from a certificate?

A certificate says you completed a course. A credential says you passed a proctored exam, built a project that was reviewed, and explained it in a viva.

Is the viva scored on my accent?

No. It's scored from what you said, never your accent, fluency or voice, and a person reviews every fail.

Do credentials expire?

Some skills move fast, so some credentials have a validity period, with a shorter renewal that tests what changed.
