Host, client, server; tools, resources, prompts

Learn the parts: the host is the AI app (e.g. Claude Desktop); it runs one client per server; the server offers three things — tools (actions the model can call, like list_low_stock), resources (read-only data the app can attach, like the product catalogue) and prompts (ready-made templates, like 'weekly stock report'). Messages use JSON-RPC.
