Improve the top results in two simple ways: (1) re-rank — take the top 10 from embeddings and score each (query, FAQ) pair with a cross-encoder, which reads both texts together and is more accurate but slower; (2) hybrid — combine BM25 and embedding scores. Keep whichever helps on validation.
