Enforcement policy
What happens when an educator breaks the rules. Clear, proportionate and appealable.
Version 2026-10-29Draft for legal review
Strikes
- A strike is given for a late cancellation by you, a no-show recorded by the room, a confirmed policy breach, or a refund decided against you in a dispute.
- One strike: a warning. Two strikes in force: teaching is suspended for 30 days. Three: your Teach Pass is removed.
- Strikes expire after a year. Instructor tier needs a clean record (no strikes in force).
- Serious harm (harassment, fraud, anything involving a minor) can end teaching at once, without the ladder.
Appeals
- You can appeal any strike within 14 days. A different staff member decides, and you'll get a reason either way.
